We gotta win our matchup but....Does NC get past Louisville to give us a 3rd shot? They’re dangerous, and I really like their coach. Are you rooting for them to get to us? Lol. And are you glad we’re a 3 seed instead of a 2? Pretty much rather play Syracuse or Louisville? And just getting this thread started for the tournament :)

I can only remember cheering for the Heels one time in my life ('93 champ game v. Fab Five and I was too young to appreciate this mistake). But you better believe I will absolutely be cheering for them to beat Louisville on Thursday. In my opinion, Duke v. UNC on Friday will be the biggest game of the year (and bigger than the ACCT final). If UNC beats us again with Zion, that absolutely crushes our soul, don't know how we rebound as a fanbase. If Duke beats UNC, everything is forgiven, UNC knows they are inferior, and the nation is on notice. Also, loser gets shipped off as the 2 seed to UK's region (assuming they don't choke in the SEC).

Louisville will upset them unfortunately. Smh. I wish we could play UNC again. Their confidence will be shot after losing to us. They really believe they’re better even though we didn’t have our full squad. We beat them and by double digits and they might have mental breakdowns

Getting some revenge on the cheaters would be great but to hope to play them in the semi finals goes against everything I stand for. Never have I pulled for unc cheater u to win in anything. I want to play UL in the semi finals. I'm a Duke fan . I can't help it. It's my nature. OFC

I could see Michigan State being in the mix too. If they win the Big Ten Tournament and neither UNC nor Duke wins the ACC, I could see the #1s being UVA, Zags, MSU, and the winner of the SEC tournament. I'm not saying that will or should happen, just that it's a possible outcome.

You all are forgetting one thing- Roy doesn't care about the ACC Tourney-or so they say when they lose!

One thing is for sure- If and When Duke beats those losers, the heels previous 2 *wins* will be 120% forgotten in EVERYBODY that matters minds.

If we can win, and it wont be easy as the heels are playing very well, it will be towards the top of the recent big win category for many reasons.

We all need to remember, although getting Z back is beyond huge, he isnt going to magically fix every reason why the heels have been on a roll against us. Cam Johnson is a major problem. Im not sure what the answer is- but I trust K might have it Friday.

MSU is #4 on KenPom, #6 on AP poll, and #8 on NET rankings. They're 7-1 in their last 8 with the only loss being a one-point loss to Indiana. They've beat Michigan twice in that run, once on the road, and beat Wisc on the road during that run.

How are they not in the conversation for a #1 seed but Tennessee is?

Tenn is #7 on KenPom, #8 on AP, and #6 on NET rankings. They're coming off a loss to Auburn. They're 5-3 in their last 8, with a big home win against KY, and nothing else, while losing at KY, at LSU, and at Auburn.

Again, not saying they would be a #1 seed. Just saying they'd be in the conversation.

They just aren’t. MSU won’t have a 1 but neither will UT

We get to the ACC championship by beating UNC in semis then lose a close game to UVA, we will still get a 1 seed. If we are able to also beat UVA in Championship game then we will get a 1 seed in East or South region.

Haha I don’t feel confident at all. The more people that spew confidence the less confident I am. Ol Roy will be preaching this to them too. “Everybody says you can’t beat Duke with Zion blah blah” Bolden going down really hurts in this game also if it happens. What really would be the icing on the cake is if we both get knocked out early.

Just picture all those shots Lucille Maye hit going back about 8 rows deep, and about a third of our missed shots turning into a tea bag....
Did you see Zion walking off after the last game? Shaking that head and that purposeful walk? I am CONFIDENT!!!

We have lost ONE game with a healthy squad.

I’m more concerned about JD stepping up on the high ball screen than anything.
