I don't like it :(

There was just something about that 1pm Championship Game on Sunday that I loved. That, coupled with selection Sunday was the best!

Now I have to try and stay sober enough on a Saturday night for an 8:30 pm game?

This format only works when tourney is held in real city(DC or NY). Nothing to do in G'boro tomm or Sat during the day.

Sat afternoon Semi's were the best then head to bar for Big East final. Those were the days.

Seeing JJ sink the puppies on a Saturday wouldn't have felt the same as it did on a Greensboro Sunday.

I don't like it. First, it seemed like there were a few empty seats yesterday and that was a game between Duke and State in NC. It would have been packed full on a Friday. And, I don't like having to wait until 7/9:30 for the semi games tonight. I loved playing Saturday afternoon. I would go to the Semis several times over the year, but I don't want to drive home an hour at midnight. And, it will be the same tomorrow night if Duke wins tonight. Having to wait all day to see the game.

When Duke would win on Sunday afternoon, it just set me up for the Selection Show a couple of hours later. I was pumped up. Now, I have to sit around all day Sunday just for the seeding. I much prefer the traditional set up. Please go back

If they'd play these Friday games in the afternoon and the Saturday game at 1......I would be all for it. However, this sitting around all day in a hotel and doing it again tomorrow and then having to wait till Sunday to drive home....I hate it!!

I always like the Sunday game just because shortly after it was over I would watch the selection show.

I would think the players like this better as they get a Sunday to rest and watch the selection special as well.

Honestly, I'm a little indifferent as to the day of the Championship game. As long as I get to watch Duke play basketball, I'm a happy guy.

Kidding right? There is A LOT to do in in the big G.

I hate it, I'm traditional and want my boys playing their ACCT on a Sunday.

Eh, I would much rather see our boys playing tomorrow in the semifinals and Sunday afternoon in the championship. But, it is what it is. I will be at the game tonight, so it will definitely be weird being there on a Friday night watching the semifinals.

I liked the old way and I like this new schedule as well. Neither had any real problems it's just that most people aren't comfortable with change. I'm sure there were plenty of complaints back when the championship was moved from Saturday to Sunday (remember, the original ACC Tournament Championship was always played on a Saturday). People will eventually get used to it, new memories of Saturday night primetime championships will be made while old memories of Sunday afternoon championships will fade a bit.

The negative is the location. Greensboro as host has to end. DC and Brooklyn are going to be great, maybe try Philly or Boston. Miami as a location would be great but probably wouldn't get enough fans to travel down there, but you would think that would be an attractive place considering how many ACC fans live in the northeast and would love a trip down to Miami in March every year. Having it in Greensboro was probably great when the conference was smaller and more concentrated but times change and people need to just accept that fact.

Think the new way is better. I think selection committee more or less made decisions prior to the games finish
So it tends to devalue the ACC championship game. Now the committee can really see who our champion is before 4 pm on Sunday.

Also, the extra day of rest for our guys is huge. For a Thursday game only 3 days rest.

Better all around.

The extra day of rest is a good thing.
I'm with Sky & Skee. If you win this thing or get into the championship game, you're going to have to play at least 3 games in 3 days. I'm sure the extra day is appreciated by the coaches, and players.
