Thought I would start one up as it starts in 20 minutes. I'm really looking forward to this.

Blossomgame is the real deal. Clemson's D is very stingy. I think we will get them tomorrow and it will be a dog fight.

Haha, Clemson is getting some easy baskets in the second half.

As a State fan I'm happy the season is over and I don't have to watch a Duke/State rematch. Ending to State's season was a joke and embarrassing on so many levels. As far as DSJ's draft stock, while he had a bad game I think he still goes high. Kid is a stud.

If I were a GM it would be a red flag that he mailed it in on his teammates.

I saw a pretty cool stat on Sportscenter last night. They showed a graphic of teams that have won their conference tournament the most times in the last 20 years and Duke was second on the list with 10 ACC Tournament Titles in the last 20 years behind Gonzaga with 15 Tournament Titles in the their conference in the last 20 years.

Well sure, but as most analysts would tell you the WCC is far tougher than the ACC, you just don't know because you won't stay up late and watch their games.

Looking forward to today. First game should be a pretty good one.

I disagree with this a bit especially because no one here really knows what went on behind closed doors. He's a kid who came in with huge expectations of himself, his team, and his program. All of those expectations weren't met. As an 19 year old kid, think he deserves a bit of a break on how he handled not meeting those expectations. I think GMs will see it this way more so than he gave up on his teammates.

Didn't see the game today but he is the only reason State didn't go 0-fer in the ACC. He played a ton of minutes and gave maximum effort every time I saw him play

Agree with you ticket. Yes there were examples in which he showed his frustration (Wake game for instance) but almost every win State had was due to his efforts. No one is perfect - especially those who are still under the drinking limit.

No issue with DJS. I don't think he quit....I think that program quit when they decided to 1) dismiss Gottfried midseason, then 2) decided it was in everyone's best interest for him to stick around and coach the rest of the year. Incredibly stupid.

Meanwhile, Syracuse has stormed back after trailing by eight at the half to cut Miami's deficit to just two. Looks like it's going to be a fun start to the day with a game going down to the wire.

No he quit. AT the wake game he flat out said take me out of the game, he just didn't want to play anymore.

Can't believe we lost to them. But then, this has been that kind of season.

Love the ACCT.

Syracuse should be winning this game. Lots of little mistakes.

He may have given up in this one game but again you don't know what was going on in the background. Gottfried held no one accountable - Abu sits there firing up jump-shots to improve his draft stock, no one played defense (which again fingers can be pointed to the coaching), and a young kid hit his breaking point.

Something like this would never happen at a school like Duke because no player would dare tell K what to do. With Gottfried every player thought they knew better than the coach and were allowed to voice those opinions with no repercussions.

Miami finished the first half well. Hopefully that can carry over.

UNC looks really good. Their defense is on a completely different level than ours. I hate to say it, but they are going to be a tough, tough out in both tournaments.

Agreed, but its the same team that scored 43 vs UVA just a couple weeks ago. If the ACC regular season proved anything it's that anyone can lose to anyone on any given night. I really think this may be the year a relatively high seed wins it all.

But dang, they are looking very good this afternoon. :(

UNC winning an early game makes me not want to watch Duke as the underdog in a later game. I'm still going to watch obviously, but my cortisol will be spiking.
