But it is also the way they lost. UVA, FSU, and really ND, were all manhandled. It wasn't close (except maybe ND). Does that mean that the ACC wasn't really good all season? No, but I do not think people can say they were/are clearly the best. It is single-game elimination, but the way that they have represented the ACC is, well, below-average. Prior to this week I would say the ACC was, with no doubt, the best. Now? very debatable. That doesn't mean they are no longer 'very good', however.

I'm not arguing the ACC hasn't been embarrassing....obviously it has been.

But you kind of made my point for me. Before this week, you thought, "no doubt, they're the best." The conference RPI says that. KenPom says it. The eye test says it. But weird **** happens in March. Since 2010 we've had like six 7-seeds or lower go to the Final Four.

I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm not saying I'm right. It's completely subjective. That said, as someone who watches a lot of basketball, I feel as though the ACC this past season is as strong as I've seen it in a long time. But yes, the ACC has been handed a cold dose of reality the last four days. I can't argue that.

My Dad grew up on Badstreet. The farther down the street you lived, the badder you were. He lived at the end of the culdesac down a 7 mile trail in a pup tent.

My dad's street growing up was called 'Mean Street'. Then I heard the Van Halen song. It all made sense.

Definitely subjective, I agree. I just smh now at those who say the ACC is clearly the best. I know, small change, but the ACC has crapped the bed this weekend. They may still produce the best overall body of work, but it's not as clear to me anymore.

Pretty simple the ACC is finesse league & got pushed around this weekend. Proposed 20 game league sked will only make it worse as we were only used to one style of play.

This weekend also shows how much of an expert Blias is. He ripped selection committee but his top teams all crumbled.

This has not been a good tournament for the ACC. If Arkansas had made literally one good decision offensively in the last three minutes, it is a very real possibility that there would be no ACC teams left.
