See, this is why country refused to commit to a date certain. This thing will drag on into Trump's second term, which ironically means Dems know they're going to lose to him in 2020.
They just hope they can use impeachment as a ruse to keep the House and regain the Senate.

He has two choices. He said by the election. If he goes back on his word then it defaults back to Thanksgiving which was a much more fait timeline for both considering the claims and the necessity to have a sell by date to make the date valid.

Exactly! Either way, there's no impeachment vote by our agreed timeline which means country has already lost. If Schiff admits there won't be a vote until after the election, country just ran out of time!

Country will leave this forum for a full year if House Dems don't vote on impeaching Trump. If they do, I leave for a year.
He said he was glad to be part of what started as the reaistance and is now the majority in the house and would become thw majority in the senate and then they would send Trump back to his golden throne. So effectively he admitted he knkws they cant win the election but they think they can win the senate supermajority.
Lets not even mention that the guy leading the fair impeachment process proudly proclaimed to be part of the resistance.
