Why do we even have to draw comparisons though? What de Sousa did was wrong. What Grayson did (multiple times) was wrong. One doesn't excuse the other or diminish the actions of the other - both were wrong and have no place in the game.

Picking up a chair to use as a weapon in the middle of a brawl you started is not comparable to tripping players. Yes, it was stupid. Comparisons are drawn because Grayson's tripping was discussed ad nauseam. I would agree that part of that was because it happened multiple times. Point is, the ACC didn't even suspend Allen. Meanwhile De Sousa got a long suspension and it's simply an afterthought a few days later.

That said Mac is 100% right. The good comes with the bad.

We can point out the hypocrisy and double standards on the negative end like other fan bases do on the positive end. That’s something a lot of fan bases have in common.
