Never knew he wrote a book that was turned into a tv movie. When I found out the name of the book, Gifted Hands, I thought that was a pretty egotistical title-especially for someone that the conservative world has labeled as humble, decent, and wise. Seriously, he names his book Gifted Hands? A little over the top. Then I saw this online which takes his "humility" to a whole new level. This guy is a nut....

I became aware of him after Obama was elected and the start of the Tea Party. He was getting face time and saying the typical nutty Tea Party crap. I have no real problem with him as a citizen of the country and am sure he has done great things as a doctor. But he doesn't belong in the political world at all much less getting serious consideration for President. Just the fact he is getting support for President just goes to show how f'd up half this country really is.

He's said a lot of nutty things. "Obamacare is the worst thing in this country since slavery"? Really? The pyramids were built by Joseph to store grain? People choose to become gay after being locked up in prison? Evolution is encouraged by the devil? No racism in Ferguson? Planned Parenthood is a plot to kill Black babies? He's a nut.

Not only is he getting support, he and another headcase, Trump, have taken full control of the GOP race. Cruz et al. are just tackling dummies at this point.

Lol. Libs complaining about a world renowned pediatric neurosurgeon who has spent his career saving lives. Yet, you laud a community organizer who serves to divide the country.

Who's complaining? I'm laughing. It certainly isn't surprising that with as many nuts who make up the Republican party these days that nuts like Carson and Trump are in the lead. With another nut, Cruz, in third.

So your hatred of Obama is deep rooted back to when he was born in Kenya, he got special priviledges to get into college, he served those hated Chicagoans when he got out of school, he hung out with terrorists and attended an evil church and he had the audicity to get elected President. Sorry, I don't have that type of hatred in my heart like you over American citizens that live an honorable life. My issue with Carson is simple: he has no business attempting to be President of the US.

Didn't miss a second of it. Some very strange play calling but it was good to see the team continues to give max effort. Good win.

I wasn't but my 4 seats were occupied. Good win for sure. I thought were were going to let it slip away for a moment. Howard doesn't have the most talent i n the world but that kid has a lot of heart. And our O-line dominated the game. Next week will determine if we have a winning record and make a bowl game imo.

I was helping coach our 12u team to victory, and a playoff bid. Running spread, trips, and pistol this year. Working quite well. I gave one of WVU coaching staff 2 of our kids names to keep an eye on in high school.

Oh and was checking WVU gameday app at before game/halftime. But still want Holgs gone.

Great effort. I also was wondering about some of the play calling. Howard did say that he did check out of a few run plays. Must have been those ill timed late pass plays which had me muttering " what the hell are they doing". But I'll take it.

The O-line did a great job. Howard does have heart, but his arm and speed are not good enough to get the best out of Dana's scheme. I believe his deficiencies limit what Dana wants to do.

I became aware of him at the praye breakfast when he admonished the president that the person who just put in a large tax payment deserved respect not belittling because of that person's success. 50% of the people in this country are tired of his pitting the classes against each other. 50% of the country understands that that is Marxism.

I am a proud American and not ashamed of our country. I am ashamed of how our President has been pitting groups of Americans against each other. you don't seem to know history very well. Read up on Marxism and Communism, maybe you'll be intelligent enough to understand what he is doing.

We will get a bowl game now. ISU and Kansas are both wins. I think if we beat Texas we will win out.

See airport, liberals such as Bru think that they care more for their fellow human being than conservatives do. They don't think far enough ahead to realize that such handouts just make people needing a hand up become dependent upon the system and a burden, all no fault of their own.

They haven't been taught by their elders that freedom comes with the responsibility that you must make your own way, and be a leader of some sort in the world. No, their way is much more... compassionate. [eyeroll]

Can you be more wrong? I doubt it but you have surprised me before.

At least Airport is proud of his demented viewpoint. You just make up a bunch of nonsense. But don't feel bad, you are just as shameful in the eyes of reasonable Americans.

The only demented view point is one who thinks that you can change peoples tendency by giving them handouts. There's a reason that in the national parks they ask you not to feed the bears, it makes them dependent and not able to take care of themselves.

The President hasn't been doing it, average Americans are intelligent enough to know that corporate welfare, when it results in corporations making millions and billions in profits and not paying as much in taxes as the middle class, is ridiculous and pisses people off.

I heard of Ben Carson in 2011 when one of my twin boys was born with an Interventricular Hemorrhage (IVH) grade IV in the right ventricle and grade III in the left. To not bore you with the details but as far as IVH goes, that’s about as bad as it gets. On top of that, the hemorrhage on the right side caused brain damage; I was told he had a 15% chance of survival. He was life flighted via helicopter to Miami Children’s hospital for observation; they have one of the best pediatric neurosurgeons in the country. (Dr. Bhatia). Needless to say this was a tough time because I didn’t understand what was wrong with my son. How would I make critical decisions on his behalf; I needed to be able to make the right decisions regarding his care. While researching the internet, I read about Dr. Carson.

I reached out to John Hopkins and they sent me lots of information; most of it was written by Dr. Carson. Without this information, I don’t think I would have been prepared to make the toughest decision of my life? That was the decision to let a doctor drill a hole into my 8 week old sons head to save his life. Believe it or not, this is a decision you have to make. As the parent, you have to give your consent. Also, you have to be able to explain why it’s being done and what the expected outcome would be.

While, I have mad respect for Miami Children’s Hospital for what they did, it was the information I got from the research of Dr. Carson that educated/prepared me the most for the many decisions to come. So, if he wants to call his book “Gifted Hands” I have no problem with that. However, I won’t be voting for him unless he wins the GOP.
Best news of all, is my son just turned 4 and is perfectly normal.

you are a complete fool if you think he hasn't been pitting one group against the other. this is a teachable moment where police officers acted correctly and the criminals got what they deserved. Let's not paint the entire police department but we are going to do just that. He will get the well deserved title of worst president ever that's saying something when you think of the complete ineptitude of Carter.

Humans are similar when comparing what I said. Welfare and food stamps are prime examples of people becoming dependent and not becoming productive human beings. I guess the analogy was lost on you.
