Ads and drop downs

How are we supposed to use these message boards when the view is cluttered by ads and drop down menus that suddenly and constantly appear and can’t be minimized?? This is what I keep getting while trying to use the message boards.

Happening to me too, seems to happen most when an embedded video clip finishes but that may just be when I notice it.

Is there no way to disable ads on a platform we pay to access?

Approaching my red line of frustration. I’m not paying $100 a year to be besieged by ads that both degrade the visual experience as well as slow response times. And no, I would not pay extra to eliminate them.

Yes this sucks. Trying to read the articles on a phone is utter crap.

ShopRite ad is the most annoying. It covers the entire screen 3-4 times trying to read an article.

Been a number of rogue campaigns that have slipped through lately.

I get these endless videos which are either Big 12 highlights or FluZone ads. And when you click the x to close the video, it says "closing" and takes several seconds to close -- just like a teenager sometimes obeying. But when I go to another page the video window is back. (Chrome browser.)

Unfortunately I am getting non-stop overlapping video ads (for Microsoft - the guy with his feet up on the desk) with staggered audio each time I go to a new page on a desktop. Some start right away, some are delayed, but there's no silencing/muting them. They are often in several places on one page. I have disabled video as recommended above. Thanks for your help!

Thank you for the heads up on this. Ads are not supposed to have audio on like that. Will report it for removal.
