A male monkey captured earlier this week in eastern Kentucky, remained in quarantine Thursday but how the adult Rhesus made it to the region is unknown, his current caretaker said.

April Truitt, executive director of the Primate Rescue Center, received a call late Tuesday from someone in Bath County, about 45 miles east of Lexington, who reported spotting the monkey near their home. Truitt then called Kentucky Fish and Wildlife officials.

I still LMAO at when that bigfoot hunting show came to Kentucky and started doing their bigfoot calls and yelps out in the woods in Eastern Kentucky. They got their asses shot out of the woods. So many people started shooting that they had to leave.

HEY MAN,
Give me the number of that place. My Uncle Fred went missing last week in Eastern Kentucky. He's a hairy mug of a dude. I need a picture but I'd have called him an Ape at best.

Alligators in Detroit, the Everglades overrun with pythons and now Monkeys in Kentucky. The answer is simple - morons the adopt exotic pets (mostly illegally) and then can't deal with them and turn them lose to become society's problem.

There's an island near Beaufort, SC named Morgan Island that is full of these monkeys as part of a study.

As you approach by boat, you can see them moving around in the trees and as you get really close, they start losing their minds and beating the **** out of each other/throwing stuff.

That's exactly the case. How else do you explain the monkey?

****, if I had a semi automatic AK 47 assault rifle, I would've turned that thing into Rhesus Pieces...

Yuk yuk yuk

I might give this a like but it would be like out of obligation. It's kind of like a Will Ferrell movie. I may laugh cause I know you're funny but….I expect better. Add some dead tranny joke in there.

More cowbell.

Ale 8 not Mountain Dew. You can't be from Eastern KY and post that.

I don't know what part you were from but Mountain Dew was bigger than Ale 8 and was a focal point of a 20/20 special they did a few years ago about a Johnson County family. Every redneck I ever knew loved Mountain Dew.

Any time I got behind someone at a convenient store, the typical order was a pack of smokes, scratch offs and Mountain Dew.

Son, Mountain Dew ain't bigger than Ale 8 nowhere in the hills of KY. You must be a city slicker or one of them flatlanders from Western Ky that pretends he's from Eastern KY.

LOL. Nobody actually from Eastern Kentucky needs the news or anyone else to tell them Ale 8 is king. That's crazy talk. Take your Mountain Dew back to Paducah, city slicker. You've been outed as a fake.

Yes, there is so much clout I have gained from being from eastern Kentucky. I can see why people would lie about such things. Everyone wants to be from that area. It has a very good reputation, that's for sure. [winking]

Spent my first 18 years of life there. Ale 8 may be big but I'll bet every redneck in that area has more access to Mountain Dew and Natural Lite on tap.

Ale 8. You must be close to Mt. Sterling because in the eastern most counties it's the Dew.

Me, well I drink the diet Dew. Got to watch the waist line you know.

Everywhere in the hills its Ale 8. Or at least used to be. I haven't been back in quite a while. Hell I can remember Upper 10 being more popular than Mountain Dew and that stuff was just about undrinkable. Lot of people called it Upper Hinen.

When a monkey grins he is not happy he is anxious and about to attack you. Carry this with you in your world travels. It may save your life some day.

Sticking your finger in its butt will defuse the situation. Then offer your own in return as a sign of submission and to demonstrate you are non-threatening.
