Where does everyone think the advantage would be,, UL has a few days extra rest but the Cats had a much easier opponent this week? If all else were equal that is. I have been tossing it around and I think slight edge for the Cats. Picked up a bit of confidence and perhaps worked on a few things plus didn't' get people so beat up as UL did. Maybe not a huge edge but never the less,, anything that could help!

That said 24.5 is waaay too many points for this game.
A rivalry game, a team UK is tired of losing to, UK has the rbs to grind the clock and shorten the gm.
U of L has lost what it has been playing most of the yr for...the FF.
This will end up a one score game.
All you rich horse farmers need to load up on UK and the points and get richer and you just might be able to enjoy a UK victory to boot!
Ohhhhhhhh....

UL has the advantage because they are at home, better coach, and better players with a dynamic QB. I do think UK has the advantage in the category the OP listed, although it probably won't help us much overall in the game

Advantage ul. The best scenario would have been for ul to have played poorly but still come away with a win. IMO, the loss to Houston will do little more but get them to refocus.

I think playing the "right" cupcake. UK in playing AP played a team with a very mobile QB, which gave them a better idea of how to play against a mobile QB.
Personally, in addition, I like the mix of playing "easier" (I'm not dead certain if there ever is a easy win for UK Football) teams mixed throughout the season. Playing a team like AP has got to be better for the team than playing a team like UT (where you get beat up) the game before UL is a great idea.

Our RB's should be able to control the clock. I believe the game rests, to a great extent in the OL's ability to create holes for our RB's. We have to be able to contain Jackson, which I know is a tough job, but we have seen it done. I think the game will be much closer then most fans think.

I say UK practiced against UL the week before the cupcake... That's probably why we came out and played disinterested...

Just saw 15:1 odds against UK. $10 bet gets you $150 if cats pull the shocker.

It is possible, but AP's QB made us look bad at times and he was Jackson with training wheels. I wish we had looked a little better in that game,I really don't have a feel for how I think this one(UL) will play out,we could be in it till the end or get beat by 40.

I would give a small edge to the team that gets an extra 2 days of prep time and rest. Hopefully the Ville will still be a little bit deflated from getting smacked by Houston and ruining any last hope of making the final 4, while Kentucky had a chance to catch their breath and get up for this rivalry game.

It is anyone's guess as to the UL mindset, some of the sting has probably worn off.Several things had to happen for them to get in in the first place.I can see them not taking UK seriously being a bigger issue than anything else.

We, on the other hand, have to get to a point that we actually believe we can go in there and win.I think this will be a strange game,Jackson is the X factor,he could just about beat us by himself ,it is crazy to think that in football one player could do that but in this case it is possible.
