The UC court looks really nice this weekend. I love the solid gray frame for the court. Very distinctive.

I’ve never noticed that multicolored logo at center court before either. Is it new? 14 spokes representative of team colors - lots of shades of red, mostly - and, from what I could tell on tv, no supporting text. Like, either you got it or you didn’t.

Really nice look. I don’t usually notice these things.

I believe it was unveiled in 2007, prior to Nebraska, Maryland and Rutgers joining the conference. The eleven colored spokes represented the eleven schools at the time it was created. It was subsequently updated to include all 14 teams.

Don't like the gray. Feels like watching an SEC game.
Is gray renown as an SEC color?

Re: the logo
Looks like it was introduced in 2011 , then expanded when those two new teams came in.

What was surprising to me — and maybe they always do it this was — was the conscious lack of words to go with the random amalgamation of colors. No BTT reference at center court, and nothing when it was displayed after replays.
(Maybe they do it this this way literally all the time —again, I’m simple.)
