boards, it is impossible to have a more classless football fan base. They are an embarrassment to the beautiful state of Kentucky.
We are a longshot to win. But this is my Christmas wish, a win; to shut those bas***d, sum bitches up!

I don't think we're quite a long-shot to win. Some folks on this board are making UL out to be the Patriots and Jackson to be Vick in his prime. They just lost to Pitt and have struggled against BC and NC State and Syracuse. This UL team may be better than we are, but they aren't vastly better as some on the board seem to think.

They are filled with so much hate over there.

Many of them are good people in other aspects of their lives but they just lose their minds when talking about UK.

The lack of perspective is AMAZING!

Should be the topic of a social experiment.

I feel like we are the more talented team top to bottom, but sadly I feel like they have us beaten by a significant margin in the coaching department with Bobby Petrino matching wits with first time coordinator DJ Eliot, and Todd Grantham squaring off against first time coordinator Shannon Dawson. Not to mention them having a major advantage in the special teams coaching department (since we have no special teams coach and the rest of our coaching staff has to divert attention from their regular duties in order to coach them).

The sad thing is that if you swapped the coaching staffs for the two teams and gave them the others players, I think we'd beat Louisville by 14-21 points.

Jnewc, special teams coordinators coach other position groups as well, so the diverting attention from their units argument is crap.

Secondly, I think there are as many UL fans that have problems with Grantham as we do with Dawson...definitely a matchup of underperforming units.

This will be a close game. If Kentucky is going to get it done, then this needs to be the year because next year the game is an away game.

I look at these two rosters and I see this game as a toss up. I think Louisville has more NFL players on their team than UK but Louisville has struggled all season on the Offensive Line. That really has been their weakness.

I've watched us. I have to assume they are better than EKU. Maybe I am wrong. And btw a long shot to me is more than a touchdown underdog, especially at home.

I have not seen the spread but unless Barker lights a spark in this team, how could the spread be any less with our past 5 game performance ( minus Charlotte)
Again.

Not saying UL is soo great IDK. we have just not looked good at all.

But please Santa and baby Jesus, grant my Christmas wish of a Uk football win over those ****oles

And UK has show that's it's D line can play very well against average to below average O lines.

And the thing is I can remember not so long ago there was a lot of back and forth with them but nothing like the hatred that you hear today. I know a ul fan who swears we set up the hooker parties just to get them in trouble. Where do they get this stuff from?

Based on location the cats have done better in PJCS where the cards hold a 5-4 advantage versus Commonwealth where the cards hold a 8-4 advantage.

My issue is my Father In Law is a UL fan and I have to listen to all of his bull crap when we lose.

OC's are struggling for both teams and thats the results when the talent is not there. OC's can only do so much with out the talented players. Thats not to say that the players won't develop next year.

This game is a pickem. Neither team winning would surprise me. I'm not sure why so many think Louisville is a lock. The play this season (and last) tells me otherwise.

Sounds like that alone is legal grounds for a divorce, and you should get custody of the kids if you have any.

I'm sure the judge would agree you need to keep them away from bad influences.

I hope we blast them. I know a lot of us were giving them hell early in the season. I know I used a few of the Owen jokes at work.

"Hey, there was a guy down here to see you"

"Who?"

"Some guy named Owen"

"Owen who?"

"Owen Three".

That was when we were fat and happy after rocking that historic win at South Carolina. Now I wish Owen hadn't shown up.

That being said, still predicting a UK victory by 14 plus. They play in the awful ACC and we are SEC. I just think the big win last week left the team on a high note and they are coming off a drubbing knowing they are going to a bowl.
