A lot of that is because our punter isn't very good. If you have a someone who can consistently get long punts with good hang time, you can cover just about anyone, including Devin Hester.
McShit is so inconsistent, I can't tell if he's doing what are coaches are wanting him to do or not. For example, we probably told him to kick away from Arenas, but he probably mis-hit the ball, which also got our coverage out of postion because they were expecting the ball to go to the side of the field rather than the middle.
