After watching Longmire and Yellowstone I have arrived at one conclusion.

Is Longmire worth getting into? I've watched half the first episode twice and it just seemed slow paced. It does seem like a show thatd be right up my alley.

I guess everyone is different but I loved Longmire. However I am a sucker for a good western type of show.
I am too. It really seems like something up my alley. I'll have to be patient and give it time I guess. Some shows are slow burners that take awhile to get into. Others grab you out of the gate. I'm off work for another week so I couldnuse a good show to binge on.

Aussie playing a western sheriff? BS.

Now Brit Beth can play anything she damn well pleases.

To be fair, there isn't much else to do in Wyoming and Montana. Might as well go out and kill someone just for the heck of it, evidently.

I liked it. Sometimes it has a slow burn, but it also has some moments that are pretty fast paced. I watched the whole series. It changes a little when the series changes hands from A&E to Netflix. Good show though imo.

So who wins in a death match?

Longmire or Rip?

Gotta go with Rip. Maybe the better match would be Dutton & LM.

And without question both shows are amazing as much as I enjoy YS I liked Longmire even better.
Never watched Longmire, but if it's half as good as Yellowstone, I'm in.

I've watched all of both. Longmire is an excellent show. Yellowstone to me isn't near as good, but it's like a train wreck and you can't take your eyes off of it. You keep watching just to see what F uped thing is going to happen next. Love Rip though.

Anyone heard when the Yellowstone spinoff Y:1883 is set to debut? It's supposed to be going back to how the Dutton's arrived in Montana and got their roots on the ranch. Last I heard it was supposed to be sometime this year but I don't know if Covid has delayed that.

Give it a shot. I liked it. I think I’ve watched it twice. Plus the blonde is nice eye candy.

Restarts 6/21.
Is that for sure? I’ve been looking for an exact date. I read June but nothing else.

where did you find a date? I’ve looked everywhere and nothing has been reported or released?

I watch several episodes, In a way it reminded me of the old Gunsmoke shows, but I could not stand the woman that plays the deputy, the actress is so out of character it's ridiculously. I finally stopped watching.
