Who's gonna throw that deep ball? I mean even you have said many times over that Johnson isnt passing well.
The one deep shot we threw to Badet against vandy wasn't that bad of a throw by Johnson. Also hit one against best that was on the money. He has really struggled with short to medium throws. But most of those he hasn't set his feet.
Just throwing a couple of long passes, even incomplete, will loosen up coverage for underneath passes and open up the running game.

Agree with this.
We need to take a couple of deep shots just to keep them honest.
And who knows maybe we get a wide open receiver and they connect.
I noticed MSU kept biting on the play action pass. Hopefully UK can get a run game going then mix in some play action.
If we are going to win this week, which I think we will, we will have to run run run the football. I agree about taking chances if they are there but this team has to win with ball control and at least 200 yards rushing.
They will not beat Miss St with 49 yards passing this week. I expect State to load the box and bring heat early and often. Passing the ball will be imperative to having success running the ball on Sat night. Conrad and Juice could have big games imo.
Hope they do load the box. Play action pass or the read will kill them!
I may be stating the obvious here but they gotta beat miss st to make a bowl. No chance in hell if they don't we go to a bowl nor would we deserve to I don't think we have a shot to beat ut or ul. Louisville game might be close being a rivalry but they'll probably pull it out in the 4th. Now Georiga might be close. Unless nick Chubb plays then idk if it'll even be a 17 pt game he makes all the difference with them. But I say we don't deserve to go to a bowl if we don't win Saturday because look at miss st loses (south Alabama and byu) is south Alabama even ranked in the top 80? Idk probably not. NO sec team should lose to a team like that no year no matter the mistakes Injuries, nothing. That's bad. I think we do win Saturday because so far other than one lsu game where miss st played out of their mind they have looked horrific thus far
