They're both better than Oklahoma or Ohio State
As much as I don't want to see two SEC teams I tend to agree. They're both better than Oklahoma or Ohio State
I now have no problem putting both Georgia and Bama in, but a little less impressed by Bama.
Georgia is going to lose and be left out. But I guarantee most people on here if they had to bet a couple months salary on Georgia vs OSU or Oklahoma would place their money on Georgia.
Beyond moranic. When Alabama came out with their defense and not punt return team GA should have called a TO and punted. That fake punt was the ultimate disaster for Georgia.
Because the SEC as a whole is overrated IMO. Ga and Bama are solid no doubt but the rest of SEC is mehPeople piss and moan about the SEC, why?
These teams are the better teams.
Oklahoma will get in now and get boatraced by Bama.

Really perplexing. Also the no-call on the pass interference by Bama at the end was big. That fake punt was the ultimate disaster for Georgia.
Yep, Bama defender should have been called for PI, can't believe it wasn't called. Well, yes, I can.Really perplexing. Also the no-call on the pass interference by Bama at the end was big.
if Ohio State wins they should be in over Georgia, you can't be that inept on special teams and coaching in the 4th quarter to give a game away like that and be given a shot in the final 4 playoff....IMO. Georgia should have 1. made the FG, 2. downed two 2nd half punts inside the 5 yard line & 3. punted on 4th & 11 at midfield......just bad for a top 5 team, and it's all on them, nothing bama did....just facts, gotta finish your opportunity, & nice of the SEC refs pocket the flag on the GA deep ball too

A lot of non calls went Bama's way.Bama is lucky they don't play in the Big Ten. Would have been flagged for multiple 15-yard penalties late. One on the late hit out of bounds by Surtain, one for the MASSIVE offensive lineman coming in after the whistle and blasting a guy standing above the pile (CLEARLY after the whistle), and the facemask on Fromm at the end of the game which the TV announcers can see plain as day in the replay and refer to as a "hit."
OU was #5 and beat #14. You can’t keep at team that lost at #4 over them, even if they did cover the spread. Otherwise what was this game for? Bama and Georgia both could have sat out all their players if the game didn’t matter.okay, then OU not Ohio State, either way, over GA now - but a conference champion should get the shot
And what of Georgia? Why is LSU and Florida getting better bowls?looks like chatter is possibly Notre Dame v Clemson dallas cotton bowl and OU v bama Orange.....due to OU proximity to dallas also in the 6 ucf v LSU fiesta, Mich v Fla peach

Two best teams in the country.

4 conferences , one team from each conference
But Notre Dame screws everything up by not being in a conference. It's not fair that they only have to play 12 games and everyone else has to play a conference championship game.
I wouldn't mind a 6-team playoff, Top 5 rated conference champs and 1 wild card. Top 2 conference champs get byes. Next week #6 plays at #3, #5 at #4. You'd get UCF at Notre Dame, Ohio State at Oklahoma - winners play Alabama and Clemson.
Really? They played Michigan, Stanford, Virginia Tech, Pitt, Navy, Northwestern , Syracuse, Florida St and USC. Plus Vandy and Wake Forest
Yep, Notre Dame is screwing everything up. You have to come stronger than that
That's my point - you can't have a playoff comprised only of conference champs like redwine65 suggested, because of Notre Dame. Hence, why any playoff proposal will have to have at-large bid(s) like I suggested.
