Criminal that he’s the best big we could pick up or that we didn’t have a competent back up for Cliff
He did not look much taller than Mulcahy. Must have gotten 3-4 put back attempts blocked. Trying to figure who showed less him or Reiber behind Cliff.
Agee actually did an ok job rebounding. But after every offensive rebound he automatically does a power dribble before going back up to the basket. Announcers even called him out on it a few times. They noted his power dribble was almost always a sidestep that allowed defenders to crash in on him. A big guy like that needs to go straight up once he grabs a rebound.
Agee and Reiber aren't even B1G subs. Feared that before the season, but now we know it and that is, by far, our biggest problem, as Cliff is going to just have a hard time staying on the floor for more than 20 minutes, as he doesn't defend with his feet and body (although one call tonight was a phantom foul) and when he goes up for a block he doesn't go vertical with his arms, which always leads to foul calls.
If I was a fan of the other team I would be dying laughing. Like where did u find these scrubs. Agee & Rieber look like walkons
Also, Cliff isn’t as great as every one thinks. Has he made a shot That isn’t a lay in or dunk? Has he gotten rebounds in traffic? Has he blocked a shot? Pike already Has said after one game of dunks and rebounds against a patriot League team that we don’t have to worry about the 5! i hope he regrets that statement....
Like I said, dudes on RU intramural teams can do what these guys do
