Offense would have a more rushing and passing yards. No way they scoring that much because their time of possession would be reduced by at least 10 minutes due long drives by PSU offense.

Absolutely. KiJana would have owned Nebraska. Still, to this day, our greatest RB if he wasn't taken out of games. Dude was absolute magic. Also, our prettiest runner ever. It was just natural for KiJana. Imagine him without a cast?

242 rushing yards for Nebraska? Can’t imagine an option team coming close to that against a Sandusky defense. What’s the most rushing yards one of his defenses ever gave up? And more specifically, I wonder what the most one of his defenses ever gave up to an option offense?

Didn't a Sandusky defense give up 400+ rushing against Michigan State once? Like, they had two 200 yard rushers

PSU did not have long drives…scored in an average of 1:56 or something like that. Why would we have had long drives?

Thank you. I’ve learned to wait for others to make my point better than I could.

Flutie had like 517 passing in a game we won handily (52-17?). Wasn't Sandusky there when we gave up 400+ to MSU on the ground? We lost that one. Probably 1983 KO Classic vs. Nebraska for option high. We lost 44-6 and it wasn't that close. But I think the 1994 defense was actually good when it needed to be.

Wow, 57 rushes for 322 yards in that Kickoff Classic! I remember it being an *** beating but didn’t remember the specifics.

I'm not a fan of Artificial Intelligence (Google or otherwise), but it is handy

The Penn State Nittany Lions' offensive coordinator in 1994 was Fran Ganter. He held that position under head coach Joe Paterno for the 11th season. The 1994 offense was particularly potent, leading the nation in multiple categories, including yards per game and points per game.
