Exploiting the rules to gain an advantage is bush-league. It's not about playing the game or Xs and Os (which is what it should be), it's about playing the officials. B.u.s.h. L.e.a.g.u.e.
Just look at the example of UGA last night. They could have taken their time, but they actually play the game of football, rushed in (too quickly?- it was less than 2 seconds whereas IL was taking up to 30) and then - perhaps because of the confusion/chaos - false started. That was a fair piece of coaching by Freman and even better imo by Smart but not being a Bielema.
It definitely isn't Sellers' fault - at least for not talking to the officials pre-snap. He missed a lot of passes, especially the one in the end zone, that were a result of who knows what. For that part he is to blame, but absolutely not for getting on the officials. I hate watching QBs or other players influencing officiating. It's bad enough when coaches do it, players should play the game and let their coaches handle the officials.
