I wanted to believe, I really did. But when we didn't get that 2 point conversion (have we ever gotten one?) I had no hope that the defense could make a stop before they got in field goal range. Did anyone really think they would get a stop? If iowa doesn't end the game with the ball I have no belief the defense can make a stop.
