More of the same in the 2nd half of the dual. Nice victory for the true freshman Young. He rides hard, escaped easy and score on a couple of takedowns with a dump and a fireman. Plott and Hamiti with 1st period pins (dominant). Surber with a tech with lots of takedowns, even when he didn't seem to get in deep, he would overpower his opponent and get the takedown. A victory for Doucette with a very surprising 2 to 1 score. Great win with an overmatched opponent.

I thought that was a very cheap takedown. By rules, correct but Surber had more to do with it than the other wrestler.

Don’t think coach appreciates Doucet ignoring his order to release and go get a takedown on the restart around the 1:20 minute mark in the 3rd. Connor covered and road long enough to get the RT point. Not a good move on his part.
