Yours is easy to clean? Ours has this thin metal grate thing that I swear is impossible to clean. Not even cast-iron chain mail works. Too bulky for our dishwasher, too. Always felt air friers were a bit gimmicky, but I guess I'm not a huge fried food fan to begin with.

I had some fried air once. It was pretty good, probably the best air I've ever had. And it's lower in calories than other fried foods.

So maybe I should buy one of these air fryers.

We been using an air fryer for a little while. I was skeptical.

Surprised at how good pork chops, chicken, wings, french fries, potatoes, carrots, even steaks and more are with it. Quick too. Easy to clean up.

Make egg rolls man. Stuff em w Pizza, cheeseburger, list goes on and on.

We bought one that we have used 8-10 times. I just haven't been impressed. It makes french fries taste like cardboard to me.

We've had one for about a year. The only thing that has impressed me has been pork chops. It's just a small convection oven, nothing special.

Whole chicken patted dry and then seasoned with dry chicken seasoning (grace carribean traditions chicken seasoning is my favorite), cooked for one hour (flipped after 30) is pretty damn good people.

Fries are not good in an air fryer.
Chicken strips in panko are ok.
My air fryer has a rotisserie function too which does a pretty good job.

The best thing it’s for is popping frozen stuff it. Set it and forget it.

Love air fryers. The key to fries and other typically deep fried stuff is to get an oil spritzer bottle and give them a few sprays. This adds flavor and helps to crisp up the food. I think I purchased mine on Amazon (or Ebay) for about $8.

We had the same problem then I figured out we weren’t drinking enough beer before eating.

I don't know what you all are doing wrong but the fries I had tasted great in mine and I didn't add any oil to it. I just took the basket out and gave it a good shake half way through and they turned out excellent. I don't use plain fries though. I get the seasoned curly fries. They came out nice and crispy. Threw some fish sticks in there as well and they cooked better than they ever did in my oven.

I just got my air fryer for Christmas and haven't had a chance to do much else with it yet. Need to take a trip to the grocery store and buy some more things to try. I want to try something that isn't frozen and see how it does. Maybe make some chicken from scratch and throw in there.

Here's the one I have.

Lamb chops are awesome. French fries!! Best purchase for the kitchen.

I have one, it's handy for making frozen stuff for the kids like taquitos, cheese sticks, chicken fingers, etc. Personally if I want something fried, I throw it in my deep fryer.

I like to dice a potato, give it a light spray of oil, and then some random spice blend from my cabinet. I've tried nearly everything and they're all good with a cajun blend being the best. I honestly like it better than potatoes cooked in a deep fryer.

It's also great with onion rings (the real ones, not that minced onion crap).

I eat healthy enough regularly that if I want fried food I'm not ******* around with half measures. I'll fry it by God.

Friend was gifted one. Used a few times & while results good, nothing unique/beneficial. Net, she sees it as another item taking up space with no real added value.

The first good thing I had from the Air Fryer.. the GF made Breakfast Egg Rolls. The Air Fryer perfectly crisped the egg paper. Fantastic.

I made some cornmeal mush in one last week. It was good that night but the leftovers were not that good.
