Actually I think Ped State would be the best place for him. You know how Carl likes his boys to have 'fun'. And you got the whole juicing thing going on there, combined with the whole slush fun thing going on there, combined with all the weird sexual stuff that the wrestling programs been in the news for. Sounds like it's right up AJ's alley.
It's impressive that you fit all of your excuses in one sentence like that. Well done.

I love a good comeback story as much as the next guy, and would love to see AJ turn his life around from all the miatakes he's made, but he just doesn't seem to have any concept of consequences or impulse control and that is incredibly sad given his talent level. Out side of the realm of sports if he doesn't get things figured out, he's going to kill himself, someone else, or end up in jail and that would be an incredibly tragic story.

Does anyone know how old the charges are in Texas? Obviously, the guy has a lead foot(I am guilty to a lesser degree), but I was wondering if this is from well before his time at Nebraska or even in California.

If it is that old, I am still willing to give him some leeway, even if he drives like a moron. If this is something recent, then he would have burned his last bridge with me. I am sure we will all see soon…

I sorta agree on age of warrant as possibly giving some leeway. But, everyone knows you cant ignore a charge or a court date. Maybe they work something out but he isn't in good position to negotiate if they don't want to.

Any word from Manning? The charge in Texas doesn't carry any jail time does it? Wonder if he will get it taken care of and back for Nebby Friday. They will need him at Minny I would think.

Over the weekend, Nebraska wrestler AJ Ferrari was arrested and booked in Lincoln for an outstanding warrant from Texas. Ferrari was charged as a fugitive from justice and was set to be extradited to Texas for the warrant.

Ferrari only joined the Nebraska Cornhuskers this season, after a tumultuous and scandal-filled journey through other collegiate programs.

Gee, thanks for letting us all know that. I guess the dozens of posts about it already didn't make your radar.

I don’t think it’s a felony unless someone was hurt or repeat offenses.
From post #2 of this thread:
In Texas, evading arrest on foot is a misdemeanor, in a vehicle is a felony. If its a misdemeanor Texas ain't coming to Nebraska to extradite him. If its a felony they probably will extradite him depending on the county the warrant was issued in.

From post #58 of this thread:

Sounds like he took off from the police in a car which is a felony in Texas and is now being extradited back there on the warrant.

Unless you are a former President in an area where nearly everyone voted for the other guy, I am pretty sure it is the kind of charge that ends up settled as a misdemeanor. Still, he was lucky to find another place and then use it to bump his standing back to the big leagues. To do something this stupid after everything that led to this point, has even me saying he doesn’t deserve any more chances.

Who knows with Nebraska, but I would assume about every program would have had him on a zero tolerance leash. It will say a lot about Nebraska if he still ends up wrestling this season…

Bond set at 25k (10%), next hearing is Feb. 17, and he is fighting extradition.

Do not mess with "the peace and dignity of the State of Nebraska".

So is this just a big speeding ticket that he blew off and now it’s turned into a big deal. He should have just paid it, he knew he was getting a bag from Nebraska. Common sense alludes some people.

So, his lawyer claimed that he was speeding to get to the airport to answer the charges in Texas.

He'd better hope that he has proof of purchase of a ticket AND that he was en route to the airport at a time that would line up with one of the four flights to Dallas each day.

Not surprised in the least at that this is your take. An extradition for an unpaid speeding ticket? Lmao

You must have great sinuses because there’s no way you can breathe normally with his balls so deep in your mouth.
