Many years ago I acquired a three album set; a bootleg called Crackers. It was a recording of Pink Floyd from the Hollywood Bowl in 1972. I also found it and have it downloaded. What's great about this recording is they were in the process of writing Dark Side of the Moon and performed the entire concept as it existed a year before the album was released. It's very raw and a very good recording. I cannot imagine what the audience was thinking as they heard what was to be one of the best albums of all time. The rest of the concert was songs from known albums with "noodling" as David Gilmour called it - he for one had grown tired of what they had been doing.

Aerosmith Rocks
Everything but no download. I am sure I have a few others but I know this one for sure. On the 8-track it switches tracks in the middle of Rats in the Cellar.
Full disclosure I have never downloaded any music.

Does anyone on here have an album that they bought as an LP, 8-Track, Cassette. CD, then downloaded?

Mine is Black Sabbath-Paranoid
For me -- Doobie Brothers - The Captain & Me & Led Zep II & IV but not 8 track. Had a friend in high school had Iron Butterfly In-A-Gadda -Da-Vida on 8 track , would get into the drum solo then mid track would switoh to the song Flowers & Beads, the moment was lost.

Never understood why people would buy multiple formats …. I refused to purchase a pre-recorded cassette tape as quality always sucked compared to vinyl ….

Always allocated $$ for Maxell XLSII blank tapes and used vinyl (on good turntable) as a master because my tapes would invariably get cooked in my 80s/90s rides…. That way I’d simply be out $2.00 as opposed to $10 when they got ruined / list / stolen

On cassette, Deep Purple - Burn. Own the CD now. Have a couple other on cassette, but only Geordie (Brian Johnson before AC/DC) without having the CD.

Never did the 8 Track thing. But from cassette (or LP) to download: Deep Purple Who Do We Think We Are, The Doors Morrison Hote, Lynyrd Skynyrd Pronounced, Steely Dan Aja, Rolling Stones Beggars Banquet and Kansas Song for America.
