Camp Hill Cafe is pretty good and your wife will really like it if she's along.

Joy's Grill and Burger House is my favorite. Their breakfast potatoes are some of the best I've ever had.

Also, right next door in New Cumberland is The Bridge. Probably my main go to for breakfast.

Checking it out early hmm. Corvettes at Carlisle isn't until August 21st. TJ Maxx has a sale now on jorts and New Balance. I have hung out a few times with Doug Fehan. He was the head of Corvette racing and the C-5R developer, as well as some of the C-8 early work. Dude was funny AF. You would have loved him.

Been over a decade since I've been to the ol' stomping grounds, but I wonder if the Denny's out on Carlisle Pike is still open? Might get a chance to talk to John Travolta ("Russ Richards" in "Lucky Numbers") in his assigned booth! ;)

@84lion The Denny’s is still there, I live pretty close by.

The Chinese buffet across the street where they had the photo of Travolta from the time he stopped in for lunch during filming is long gone though. Pity, as I went there more than I ever go to Denny’s haha

This is the Camp Hill I remember as a teen in the 60's .........

"SCI Camp Hill opened in 1941 as the Industrial School at White Hill for Young Offenders and received Huntingdon Reformatory's juvenile population en masse. In 1975 it was ruled that SCI Camp Hill was not an appropriate place to house juvenile offenders, and in 1977 the institution began housing adult male offenders. In 2021,"
