So, is ESPN now going to criticize Saban for running an outlaw program at Alabama? Yes, it is a rhetorical question. If it were Stoops and Oklahoma on the other hand........

Using the N word, or being accused of some sort of domestic assault are the two unforgivable sins right now. Do not even have to be proven. The accusation is all that is necessary.

And if you do what Brock Edwards did in Austin a decade ago ... i.e. beat the hell out of another guy, then that requires a one game suspension. But hit a woman, or just be accused of it, even if she hit you first, then you are, according to some media types, confined to a convent until you are too old to play any more.

Sorry Plaino but I don't see what your post has to do with my post. I'm talking about the multiple Alabama players arrested in the last few weeks and another player kicked off the team. ESPN would be all over the story if that had happened at OU.

I assumed it had to do with Saban taking a player who had been dismissed elsewhere after domestic abuse charges, and then dismissing him a short time after arrival in Tuscaloosa for a similar accusation.

Cannot remember the name of the player, but I believe his dismissal at Bama was in the last two weeks. This was not the first time, in the aftermath, that Saban suffered this accusation in light of this dynamic.
