I see where OU plays Oregon in the Alamo Bowl on December 29.

Are any of you concerned whether OU can round up coaches and a team for this game?

Wil any players sit it out because of this turmoil we're going through.

I would hate to see OU be embarrassed by the players sitting it out.

I think we will know this week…if we hit a HR with HC and OC, some of the portal kids might come back and no more will leave.

Just my opinion.

Bob can quickly insert the vanilla version of his zone blitz 4-3 defense or what we saw his last few seasons with edge rushers like Striker and Obo.

Bedenbaugh and Demarco should have enough knowledge of Riley schemes to get through a game.

This will be about attitude. These boys come out pissed and Oregon is going to get a prison shower. Winfrey, Thomas, Bonitto, Pat, Turner-Yell, Asamoah and many others likely playing with a grudge.

Well, when you put it like that I am feeling pretty damn confident, bc. Bring it on. Boomer!

Oregon got smoked twice by Utah. They ain't ****. Glad we got them truthfully. We owe them one...again. Defensively I think we've got all the pieces to implement Bob's defense with simple man/zone coverages and just let the front 7 go to town.

Bob was asked about the steal after the Bowl was announced, he said it was water under the bridge. We know it aint 😁

Oregon is soft upfront. If OU throws the ball 50 times like LR is still the playcaller, then Oregon will probably win. If you line up and run Brooks and Gray 35 times, OU beats Oregon as badly as Utah did twice.

Just bought our tickets. Looking forward to seeing Bob on the sidelines w/ BV again. Never would have thought it would happen. I have a feeling that there will be some opt outs along the way but I don't care. It'll be a fun trip. The Riverwalk is always a good time, Great food, w/ a little bit of honky tonking. Toss in an OU game and you have yourself a GoodTime.

San Antonio is always fun. Lived just outside in Lavernia for a couple of years and the wife and I never got tired of it. Great food on the walk.

Oh that scoundrel wants in...the one that said there was nothing wrong with the officiating that horrible day in Eugene??
Did you really think he was going to say anything different KC? Even Dan Fouts who was announcing the game said it was a bad call. OU still had a shot to win it though on the late blocked FG but it should not have come down to that. A wrong PI call on the TD drive that kept that Duck drive alive. That ball was tipped at the line which should have nullified any PI.

Without a doubt the refs won that game for the Quacks.

Last OU game I actually saw in person was the 2007 B12 championship at the dome against Missouri. Fun tailgates, friendly folks from Missouri. Tight game at the half, we rolled in the second. I believe the tigers were ranked #1 or 2 if my memory serves me correctly.
My last was our loss in Houston ---- I am hoping to see lots of friends here in San Antonio.

I took my young son to that game. He's now 22. I'm 70. That night, he was 7 and had a blast. He's now in his 5th year of a 6-year BB, MBA combination at Tech.

On Sunday, it took us more than an hour to get from the South side of Austin, to the north side, headed back home toward Plano. Austin traffic is nuts. Before COVID, I'd made all but one of OUr CCG appearances. He was there in Houston when he was 3, also. We saw Billy Sims that night before the game. I actually liked SA better.

I think the Alamodome is a fine venue for cfb and should progress as the Roadrunners' do. San Antonio is a fine city imo, I ain't left after 35 years and am now 54. I hate travelin through Austin also, I take 281 all the way up to OK these days. Less nascar and stress but equal time. 👍

I think Stoops will get the guys to play with a lot of heart. I can’t wait for that game, and Stoops on the sideline. I think it’s going to be a fun game.

I was there in 2007. My next door neighbor had connections with the Dr. Pepper rep who was running the event. We received free entrance to the BBQ and band show which was special. Our seats were on the front row fifty yard line. My neighbor played for Missouri in the early sixties and I think he got a little agitated at me for yelling so loud when we put it on the Tigers in the second half.

Our seats were on the front row fifty yard line. We were right behind "Booger" Daniels and were able to catch quite a bit of his histrionics during the game. My neighbor played for Missouri in the early sixties and I think he got a little agitated at me for yelling so loud when we put it on the Tigers in the second half. It was a wonderful evening.
