Alan Dershowitz, the attorney and Harvard Law professor emeritus, slammed Robert Mueller on Sunday, saying the special counsel engaged in a “cop out” by stating that his report neither exonerated President Trump nor concluded he'd committed a crime related to obstruction of justice.

Dershowitz said Mueller seemed to try having it both ways. “It sounds like a law-school exam,” he said, adding that the report sounded wishy-washy. “Shame on Mueller.”

Dershowitz also said it was a great day for Trump and a “very bad day for CNN” given how many of the left-leaning cable network's personalities and guests predicted the probe would lead to a slew of indictments for collusion and obstruction. “They should be hanging their heads in shame.”

Dershowitz said the job of the prosecutor is to make a binary decision, yes or no: yes means indictment and no means “shut up.”

What a homer. He has no credibility making statements like that and not having seen the report.

He read the part which Mueller claimed he didn't find any collusion but still wouldn't rule it out(wishy-washy). Left the way open for more Dem conspiracy theories.....

Mueller's job isn't to rule it out, it's to find evidence. He didn't find any. He also didn't find any that "ruled it out", which is nearly impossible.

Obstruction was going to be very hard to prove since it would have involved proving intent. Pretty clear from how that was written and Mueller believed trump was obstruction but didn't have enough evidence to prove it.

Look at it from Trump's point of view. He's innocent. Just days after inauguration, Comey comes up to you, and tells you there's rumors of a sex tape. He's like, "uhhh, what the crap?". The very next day, it's on CNN, as well as the fullblown fake *** dossier. You would be trying to end it too, and certainly would not be trusting anyone, particularly anyone in that initial briefing.

So he didnt find obstruction.

He found no crime. Why would he find obstruction?

Rod says fire the guy. He fires the guy. Rod says investigate because he fired the guy. They investigate and find nothing. Don't be a Rod.

Rod didn't say investigate the guy, that was already being done. Rod took it away from McCabe, and gave it to Mueller.

Rod kicked started the SC investigation, which should have never even started, especially if based off of the Comey firing.

Ok, but think if McCabe had continued rather than Mueller. Would it have turned out the same way? Would McCabe had been fired?
