I am not sure about this game. North Moore's defense is not that good while Albemarle's offense is lethargic. I see a score of 14-13 Albemarle.

Toss up. Albemarle defense is gonna have to put the pups in good field position, a couple interceptions or caused fumbles will help out tremendously. The offense can only move the ball 30yds lol. But if the QB has a good night, it’ll be a blowout...our offense runs through the QB, matter fact our QB should run more often when dropping back for a pass imo...

They need to play #11 Christian more on offense as a receiver. He was their best receiver last year. The offense needs all the help they can get. Still think they win a close game at North Moore.

Another game where you'll see two dirty, toothless, mangy dogs fighting for a bone. Will Albemarle grab that bone again this week???

I don't know if it's the case now or not but the first two games North Moore fumbled a ton. Against CSD fumbled put them out of the game and they didn't complete a pass all night. Against North Stokes they had an awful first half before putting it away.

North Moore has a solid HC but that's about all the good I could see there. Alby can def win this one but they gotta be ready to hit it won't be easy.

NM had quite a few players going both ways. They really wore down in the second half.
That could have had something to do with the injuries late in the game . Hope everyone is ok.

Christian had I think two TD catches against Thomasville and since has played sparingly on offense.

NM pretty much graduated the house last year. Turnovers are eating them alive right now--and some injuries. This could wind up being an entertaining game for either school. This one may very well come down to the coaching alone. Who can/will play their chess pieces most effectively will decide the outcome. Voght at NM has shown he will change game plans on a dime and hold the ball forever (against West in the past), or go throw it around in a hurry up. Heck, the biggest worry NM had during the off season was losing him to West or Albemarle. He is a good coach. Albemarle may have a couple more bodies and athletes to wear down the Mustangs. The game is in Robbins, I believe, so that may play into it too. I've never watched a NM-Alb game in all my years, but one thing is for sure, the folks in Robbins still bristle over those 64-0, 77-0, xxx-0 scores from the days of the No Class Club. Still, a lot of ???s for North Moore and their young players. I'd say Bulldogs by 12.

Albemarle couldn't put CC away until about 3 mins left in the 4th. This is going to be another lower scoring 3 quarters imo. It was good for the puppies to get their second win and I hope the momentum carries over, but until they get that offense down and stop racking up 100+ yards in penalties, the possibility of losing is "High". I thought CC was two touchdowns better than Albemarle in an early post, but the defense got better at the CB position...that was the game changer, if not, CC would have won that game.

I hope the game plan is to line up in the I formation and put 11 helmets on 11 helmets and see who wants it more  and throw that full house in here and there...but what do I know, I'm just a fan

My gut tells me these two teams are the most evenly matched in the conference right now. NM struggled for a long time but has made strides over the last couple of seasons. AHS had a hard fall from glory and is starting the climb back up. The programs seem to be in similar shape in terms of personnel, coaching, outlook, etc.

Agree that it will be close. Also think the game will be a great measuring stick for both schools, especially AHS. The winner should have a good shot at finishing in the top half of the conference.

Well stated. The main reason I think Albemarle wins this game is because of their defense. NM is turning over the ball at a rapid pace and if Albemarle control itself on offense I think NM really struggles to score on them.

I give both coaches high marks. NM is well schemed with the talent (speed or lack of depending who you ask) each year. The AHS defense has shown potential to be outstanding over the next few years. This should be a good chess match. I'll take AHS by 6....

I think this game could define our season...With a win here and against SD would give us 4 wins...Bout what I expected....If our offense ever comes around we might steal another win against SS....But only if.......

Buddy I think SS is the wildcard of the conference. They have shown the ability to compete this year and although I don't think they get NR or NS based of what I seen out of WM that may not be a stretch especially with us already seeing that they could take EM to the absolute limit and seeing EM handling WM. I also think with Alb def you can't sleep on them. All it takes is for that offense to play descent and this team has a chance against anybody.

Well North Moore kicked the pups in their bellies (50-6) sent them whimpering last year like a newborn...in their own house...Albemarle needs to return the favor as a "Professional Courtesy" ;)

I seen somewhere last year through 5 games our defense gave up 266 pts this years defense through 5 games 75pts. That's a huge swing. Additionally our special teams has been playing really well. The last game you can credit one touchdown for the special teams sticking CC inside the 2. Our offense doesn't have to be great but they have to be descent for us to have a chance at I will call the top 3 or anybody else for that matter. Hats off to coach Davis and the improvement we have seen in less than a year. If you are a bulldog fan or part of the community you should be excited for the coming years.

There's a reason for that swing...it's because all of Albemarle top athletes are on the defensive side of the ball. Davis knows what he's doing, if you never heard of "Benji Brown" from Thomasville, you should find out about him. He put all and I mean "Freaking" all of his top athletes on the D. He had 1 decent QB, and stud of a tail back, a fullback and a decent tight end....out of the I-Formation...and they brought it my friend lol!

He said if our offense gets going but only if. I think everyone on this board has given SS there respect this year. They have battled hard and really have been right there in most games. But back to your statement ER beat SS 34-2 beat us 22-0 so I would say our defense is alittle better. To say "no way Albemarle can beat SS" is alittle bit of an over reach. In fact if our offense is Descent I think we beat them. Like Buddy said "but only if". Didn't you pick NM to beat Albemarle as well?

Dude East Rutherford beat SS 34-2. Eastern Randolph does not play SS this year.

Played them last year and score was well...not close.

It's ok it happens.

If we stay the course and keep Davis, I think we are on the right path..Particaption is up and the kids are excited...However we are a year or two away from playing with the better teams...With that said I think I would call 4 wins a successful season...These kids have come a long way since last season.....Just stay the course guys......
