Before the Lefties on here attack me of that..........Lives were put as risk in Afghanistan, people are being told they can just cross our southern border, and the very, very best example Fauci.........he and his cronies were pretty sure that this virus would be a doosey if it could be created in a lab.............SOB has proven that he was right.....they had to go to a lab in China to create this monster.......it was the only damn place in the world that would let this kind of experimentation to be carried on.................and he used our tax dollars to fund it.........I want all of my liberal friends on here to think about that........

Had another actor been killed, as pointed out previously, it would be a little easier to buy that this was just a little accident. But when you have to shoot around the corner and over the stairs to hit someone, you have to wonder? I am joking about that but when does the movie call for you to shoot people on the crew?

Did he jokingly point a gun at them thinking it had blanks and pull the trigger?

Complete guess but since the woman killed was the DP, it's possible her and the director were setting up a shot (no pun) and wanted Baldwin to aim the gun where they were standing because if that shot (no pun) works, that's where the camera would be moved.

Also, and I'm saying this more and more - the same ones who constantly whine about how everything is political now can't wait to turn anything, even this, political. I think Trump's name has been mentioned more in this thread than Baldwin's. Some of you are just political versions of that UofL sheriff nut at this point.

Are you saying the woman shot was doing a DP scene ? 🍺

The first part of what you wrote is definitely possible. So why not get it out there if that's what happened? The trigger would still have to be pulled though.

As to the second part of what you wrote, license and registration please?

Ongoing investigation. Give it time. Baldwin just released a statement, but it's the typical I'm fully cooperating with the police investigation type thing. One of the main problems with society now is everyone wants an answer this second and then there's instant speculation. Heck, I just did it with my theory.

As for your second point, what's your point? He's an actor with opinions. I don't pay attention to them but maybe you do and disagree. That's fine. A personal goal in life for me is that if something like this happens, that I don't immediately yell about that person's politics. James Woods is conservative and a great actor. If this had happened with him, the last thing I'd do is complain about his personal opinions and try to spin the death as a win for "my side". Obviously many would though.

I believe in this case it will be a real gun that was supposed to have blanks. A prop gun would be entirely fake or at minimum, have the firing pin removed so it's impossible to accidentally discharge.
Didn’t Brandon Lee kill himself messing with a prop gun?

This is a sad story. A young cinematographer was killed. That kind of mistake would haunt forever.

It won't help his case that he has a long, ugly history of being abusive and incapable of managing his anger. Exhibit A, threatening the 12-year old "Pig" as he called his daughter.

I remember that audio. So ridiculous that it seems unfathomable that it could be true. It’s comedic. And, to think an 11-12 (Baldwin probably should know) year-old was living rent free in his head. Wow.

Not really.

On March 31, Lee was shot dead in a scene gone wrong on the set of his upcoming film, The Crow, when his costar fired a prop gun that had a dummy bullet lodged in its chamber. Lee’s death was also an eerie case in which life mirrored art. The scene that killed him was supposed to be the scene in which his character died.

In 1984, 27-year-old actor Jon-Erik Hexum died days after accidentally shooting himself in the head with a prop gun on the set of a TV show. He was pretending to play Russian roulette with a .44 Magnum revolver when the gun fired a blank cartridge, authorities said at the time.

As always, the devil is in the details. If it occurred while filming a scene, a crew member had mistakenly put in a real bullet instead of a blank, and Baldwin had shot an actor then it would be somewhat more understandable, though no less tragic. However, the victim wasn't an actor in the scene, but rather a producer, i.e. someone presumably off-set. How the hell is this possible? Is Baldwin that bad of a shot that he missed his intended theatric "target" and the bullet struck someone in the background?
I can't figure it out. All I know is a liberal with a firearm is one of the most dangerous things on earth. Most liberal are urbanites who have no clue about which end is up on a firearm. They are also afraid of firearms. Fear is dangerous when you are handling a hand gun. Especially if the lib is Alex Baldwin. He has a record.

We could all live a thousand years and nothing this stupid will be repeated on a movie set. Leave it to a moron like Baldwin to make history. I hope the families sue him for everything he owns and his insurance company denies the claim so the money comes out of his pocket. Dumb ***.

The second part of what I wrote was dealing with Grover asking for license and registration from a police officer. It was a joke.

So the big question is does he get jailtime for manslaughter or at least negligent discharge of a firearm?

Click here to see about negligently discharging a gun
I don't see any way he escapes some jailtime. It doesn't matter if it was a "prop" gun and it doesn't matter if someone else accidentally put a live round in it. The person holding the gun is responsible for every round that is discharged. Period. Baldwin broke all four cardinal rules of gun safety: he didn't assume the gun was loaded, he pointed it at something he wasn't willing to destroy (presumably, or it would be murder), then he put his finger on the trigger and pulled it without making sure of his target or background.

He's going to jail, or at least he should.

Few days ago somebody leaked on the internet that on some hollywood set two people collapsed after taking the vaccine (it wasn't specified that it was alec baldwin movie). people thought it was fake, like with everything. now it looks like the entire thing was true

the hollywood will try to spin this into "gun missfire" but make no mistake - these people died because of the ****ing vax. never forget that.
Everyone is asking reasonable questions regarding why a "prop gun" with live rounds and "accidentally" shooting TWO people. Reasonable questions for sure but because there appears to no reasonable answer, one would conclude that this narrative does not make sense, not to mention the absurdity of putting a loaded gun in the hands of Alec Baldwin, of any reason. That said, NamelessOne has a reasonable point and this makes more sense than the narrative offered "through" the media hucksters. So many lies concerning the Covid Jab and who has died from it and hiding the numbers. Prop guns with live rounds "makes no sense" and once Baldwin shot the first person, why would he shoot the second?

Someone dies and the usual suspects flock here to make it political. I would lose respect for you all but you can’t go lower than zero on the respect scale. Congrats on having something to rally around for a few days.
Ya know we're talking about Alec Baldwin, right?

It's the guy who is not in politics, but preaches from the actor's pulpit 24/7 about politics.

On this exact topic, he should have no problems with a few barbs thrown his way:

Life comes at you fast.

A person died. I know death is a joke on here. But you have posters boned up because this happened. It’s sick. It belongs in the political thread with the rest of the hate.
