He's right. This team does suck and a big reason is a lot of knuckle headed plays from TA. Interception before the half at Miami, int in OT at Miami. Throwing the ball on 3rd down today. Hope O'Brien is all he's hyped up to be.

Yes, and this is because we have had coaches the past 15+ years that don't realize that college football is more about developing toughness and football IQ and less about teaching the scheme you are so proud you developed. Exhibit A is Charlie Weis' schematic advantage.

Alex - you DO suck. I commend you for accepting it. Every time you line up - the guy on the other side beats your ***. They punish you physically and intellectually. I'm glad you realize it. It will help you accept being somebody else's ***** for the rest of your life.
This isn't good at all. This is the kind of day that can put your team in a tailspin see 07 ball state and you know who at lb. coach Riley has to get every fact and act accordingly to the information he gets. From experience coaching a college sport can't have your so called leaders doing this. Sad sad day all around for nebraska football.
This is also the kid that halled off on twitter last week and then obviously didn't learn his lesson. Who is currently supposed to be teaching him these lessons? You're taking me to a place that I don't want to go. I don't hate Riley and I think he's an ok coach. I've always said that I will never blame him because he didn't hire himself. Team chemistry is a major problem right now. Bo didn't help things with the way he took his firing, then there was the handling of scholarships over the summer that rubbed people the wrong way. Now after three loses and some players not getting much PT if any, well let's just say morale ain't real high amongst the boys.
No kidding. I asked for a link or at least a quote from some article/tweet mentioned and I got bullied by one member like I was the a-hole. I was only asking for the quote mentioned in the post. I was told I should have done the homework myself in about forty consecutive posts by the guy. Sorry that I just wanted to know what they were talking about without having to do all the google-fu.
I also heard that Armstrong denied interview requests after the game. If so, that is disappointing coming from a captain. As a captain, you do interviews whether you throw the game winning touchdown or throw a game losing interception.

I have never said anything bad about a player.....but Alex Lewis should be done playing at the University of Nebraska. This is already a train wreck right now. The last thing Mike Riley needs is to give the impression that the inmates are running the asylum.
Suspending him a game would send a message to the rest of the leftover Pelini fungi. Get with the program or hit the road.
Ill give TA a pass on this (no pun intended). He typically takes his lumps after tough losses. I remember when Martinez was a little punk after every loss and wouldnt talk. TA can have a couple of no comment games...Lewis though...dude better be puking from all the stadium steps he is running and no longer a team captain if not off the team.
Agreed. At some point, you have to draw the line and take control. It is an understatement to say that not everyone on the team is "all in". If this is going to be a rebuilding year, let's try to at least right the ship discipline wise. I don't know that enough has been done to throw him off the team, but you cannot continue to play him. That would send a horrible message to the rest of the team.
