I don't know anything about him, but I knew his father at Duke in the '70s. He was very athletic and I believe highly rated coming out of high school but had a lot of injuries and couldn't develop the way Duke hoped. Nice guy though. I'm sure his son is the kind of guy we want to recruit. If he has his athleticism, then he will be a good one.
Umm. This kid is badass. He can shoot lights out and he's fast as crap ! Also, he can throw it down, hard! AND.....he's got a lil bit of Laettner-like cocky in him. Showenuff likey.
Now that's a highlight reel. Unlike the one of Big Luke rebounding and making an outlet pass.

Got some great comparisons there. thr's already gotta hate him. Coach K does a great job of recruiting these guys for unc nation to hate . I wonder if he does it on purpose.
OFCIf he's a 4 star now he will be ranked in the top 5 after committing to you guys. He is a guy that will be there the next 7 years and probably the 2000 point scorer you're looking for. Here is my question; does taking him hurt your chances with anyone you want for 2017? Or does it all depend on who stays and goes after this year?
How many guys will Duke take in this class? They want Knox, Trent, Bamba, Carter, Gak, and Green in addition to O'Connell I presume? I count really only five guys that you know will be gone at the end of the year: Giles, Tatum, Allen, Jefferson, Jones. If Obi graduates, that's one more opening, but I can't imagine Duke ends up with all those guys.
I would love that, for no other reason than to see the UNC fan reactions.

247 used to have Knox at 91% to Duke and 9% FSU. Just looked now and it is 100% prediction he will go to Duke. I don't get it, Showe.
I'm with Show. I don't think there is no chance with Knox, however I do think his interest is not what it once was. Can Duke regain it some? Sure, but I'd feel more comfortable if he becomes an early signing period commit. This one is really going to be a wait and see.
Another wing who would fall short of expectations if that were the case: I suppose he could end up like Justin Jackson if he doesn't end up one and done if he went to UNC. He might as well go to FSU if not Duke
I'm with you. Show would probably agree as well. Knox's been noticeably quiet with the Duke staff lately.
I've been having that sense for a while now too just reading the tea leaves. My thoughts are he wants to be different than Carter and Trent- nothing wrong with that. If that is the case he's not coming to Duke.
I'm suprised about Gak as well. Most of the summer I felt like he was Duke bound. Crystal ball always said 100% Duke. Seems like Kansas has now taken the lead for him in the latest crystal ball projections.
