All 4 Plainfield schools finally getting turf

Should of happened years ago, had the financing in place then the board decided to cut like 20 teaching jobs at the same meeting they tried to pass the turf....and needless to say that didn't go over well.

It says they are targeted for completion in mid-September 2016 (the first two fields). How will that affect home game scheduling?

Borrowing money to pay for the fields, aren't school districts great!

If managed properly Plainfield schools could actually make $$$ or at least break even. Just the overwhelming demand/need for fields via the Plainfield Park District alone...this would help fill that void.

Building fund and bonds completely separate pool of money. Don't disagree on the salaries in Plainfield but ....
