I know, I battled myself leaving off Russ. Decided he reminded me somewhat of Darius until everything clicked midway thru his junior year. I’ve not lost hope Darius is going to click?

The first question would be what’s the criteria. Clearly D Mitchell is our top pro and was fantastic his sophomore season. However he was only here a couple of years and doesn’t have any NCAA hardware. Hancock has a ton of hardware but on the other hand was coming off the bench in the championship run. I’d say Russ, Gorgui and Peyton are 1st team regardless of criteria.

He was a consensus 1st team All American his senior year. And his sophomore year he set school record for steals and was second on team in scoring avg.

I like your list. I’m hoping that by the end of this season we will be putting Nwora on the first team list.

I would think success at UofL and in the NCAA tourney would be the criteria. However Mitchell has blown up in the NBA and reps UofL in the NBA the most since who...maybe Dr. Dunkenstein? I think that’s worth something.

By UofL stats and standards.
Mitchell wasnt here long but he had a huge impact.

I thought about Chris Smith too, but your list is spot on really. For us not to have been in the one-and-done game, that’s a pretty damn impressive list of players we’ve churned out over the last ten years.
