I’ll take your word on the guys before K, and I like the others you named.
I’ll add Shane Battier, Dave Henderson, Brian Davis, and Justise Winslow.

I just realized that I’m going to miss at least the first half of the game Friday night because my niece will be singing with her school’s show choir at 7 at our town’s Christmas Tree Lighting. Fortunately I should be home to watch the second half and I can DVR the game while we’re gone and can watch the first half sometime Saturday. Also the game will be aired again on the ACC Network at 12am.

Wow, this is tough. I can’t read the question and immediately answer. I’ll have to put some thought into it, but one person who does jump out at me as just gutsy, no quit, warrior is Amile Jefferson. I think Wojo is a no brainer pick for this team, and I’m kind of seeing Langdon maybe. Seth with the way he played in pain so much. Good post @skysdad. Difficult to stick with the original criteria and not drift off into picking favorite or best players!

Love the Danny Meagher pick. And, although he's far from a stereotypical "tough guy", considering he's now an Army Ranger, I think I'd like to have Marshall Plumlee on my team. OFC

every single one that was named deserves to be on the All Tough Team.

If I had to pick a captain, it would be Singler. Well maybe Singler and Heyman. I really didn't see Heyman in college but by reputation...

Of course Hurley would never back down from a fight and he might have to be a captain also.

I better stop now.

I will put my team together but it only consist of guys I was able to watch = 1990 and later.

2 of the most underrated Blue Devils in my opinion. I'd put Daniel Ewing in there too.

1 - Bobby Hurley
2 - Nate James
3 - Kyle Singler
4 - Shelden Williams
5 - Christian Laettner

Tough time leaving out Brand (you got Branded, clap clap clap-clap-clap), Battier, D. Jones, Wojo, and Justise.

I think all 3 Plumlee Brothers were tough, but Christian Laettner was was the toughest I remember, he was just ruthless at times.
