There is a Big 10 team in the final four, and NU beat them this year, and last, and another Big 10 team made it to the elite 8, and NU beat them as well this year. Not too shabby. Maybe not next year, but I look forward to even better things in the future. Although maybe next year, depending on portal transfers.

I think Purdue and Illinois’ success in the tourney is pretty good evidence that a full-strength NU team with Berry and Nicholson could have had a nice run.
