Thats a great one I always throw Sorensens match against retherford in there even though it was a loss super tight match woke up the next day with bruises on my arm because my brother got so excited he was punching my arm lol

Those Marinelli - Joseph wars were worth the price of admission alone; you just knew the big throws were coming! And Kem's win against Hall in CHA was one of my all time faves! Thanks for sharing! :)

Damn it. Been looking for that full match since the day it happened. NATO getting up slowly and stumbling around all purple faced was crazy work by Clark in that match. NATO real lucky he didn’t go unconscious. Cory’s grip strength was unreal in that tournament. Pure guts. Easily one of my top 5 all time Hawkeye matches.

Agreed. There's a couple of the older matches I really want to track down in full, not just the highlights version.

From the beginning of the Gable Era through today, there was simply no greater moment. This basically coincided with when I first started watching Iowa wrestling. IIRC, this was only shown on tape delay on IPPTV, and the local sports guys were like "you gotta see this dual to believe it..." and I couldn't wait.
