Video of Allar jogging, diving onto a pad, and throwing deep balls came out of Wednesdays’s practice. DDS was not seen during open time.
I think that 15 minutes was for show.Penn State quarterback Drew Allar was a full participant during media weekly 15-minute Wednesday afternoon look at Nittany Lions practice. After missing the second half of a 28-13 win at Wisconsin last Saturday, the junior participated in a variety of drills that indicate he is taking positive steps toward being available versus Ohio State.
We initially witnessed Allar working through a ball security drill that required him to jog back and forth through simulated contact, then another in which he dove onto a padded bag. Allar then worked in tandem with running backs in rushing drills, and next threw several passes to Penn State receivers, including a couple of deep targets.
Simply put, it was business as usual for Allar during our observation periods.
Very well could be.... we all know how much JF keeps injury status quiet. He wants to have the other team having to prepare for multiple qb's and in this case they are quite different.I think that 15 minutes was for show.
Bob, can you concur?A groin injury on a big, powerful guy who makes a living exploding out of a three point stance sounds like it may take a little more time to heal.
I actually thought he gave more information about the three key injuries yesterday than normal.Very well could be.... we all know how much JF keeps injury status quiet. He wants to have the other team having to prepare for multiple qb's and in this case they are quite different.
Some groins are bigger than othersBob, can you concur?
I hope they dont waist the first and half the second period before taking out Allar and being down 10 points. Some groins are bigger than others
I hope that doesn't happen but it could. Allar says he's good to go and Franklin thinks he's out best shot. Then he takes a few hits and realizes he can't do it..I hope they dont waist the first and half the second period before taking out Allar and being down 10 points.
DDS has a groin. This is what we’re up against.
I'd be more concerned if he didn't have oneDDS has a groin. This is what we’re up against.
Do we have any other options at RT besides Rucci? He looked, ummm, a little slow footed out there Saturday night.
Yes…….DDS has a groin. This is what we’re up against.
Probably not. JB? Also, TFrank was clear on the BWI Youtube video that Donkoh playing hurt was not helpful to the team. We need him at full health.Do we have any other options at RT besides Rucci? He looked, ummm, a little slow footed out there Saturday night.
Was hoping Jven Williams would get some reps.Do we have any other options at RT besides Rucci? He looked, ummm, a little slow footed out there Saturday night.
Could Cousins slide out there? Was hoping Jven Williams would get some reps.
Wish it were a Groyne .DDS has a groin. This is what we’re up against.
That's not very woke of youI'd be more concerned if he didn't have one
