One more month of this and then just months away from the next torturous season (Mets, RU football, etc.).

:flush:

When's the last time Rutgers' season ended before March 1? Has to be decades. I think I'll look.

1986-87. The second season of the Littepage Error ended on Feb. 27 with a 94-85 loss to GW in the first round of the Atlantic 10 Tournament.

The correlation between RU football and RU basketball is incredible. Pitiful, awful, atrocious, embarrassing, lackluster, pathetic offenses, combined with serviceable, energetic, hardworking defenses that get worn down and can't compete long term....

it's the same exact thing in both sports and makes for very hard games to watch.

I can only stomach one pitiable reflection at a time, but true enough.

I started the season with hope
but starting just after the Seton Hall win this team has regressed a lot
meanwhile a number of B10 teams got better

Its hard to see even 1 more win this year
kinda painful

But my Cornell hockey team is ranked #1 in the nation this week
so I am not totally depressed

Stonyford broke my back for this season. I never recovered...and apparently the squad didn't either.

Been fond of Stonyford since the daggers occurred, but Hartbroke may have a long-lasting ring to it.

4-6 but only 6 points?
How is that possible?

He did score some of his points in garbage time
I don’t think Duke was in then.

But your point stands.

As someone said, they need to run plus for Duke.

Regression is the wrong word. It is a break down of the the machine. Team had a fragile build with little depth in the most important parts. It simply broke down. It happens. And now we have the depressing thought of wondering if this is going to hurt recruiting so much that the underlying situation gets worse instead of better.

Pike can coach. The team plays hard. We just need a bit more talent.

LOL - had to research since that game was long off; he put up 8 pts.

It took only his first shot in the first game he played this year to see that the guy can shoot. Shooters would kind of be helpful for this team.
