Got my yard plugged, 50 lbs of grass seed put down, ditches have been thoroughly nuked (Tuesday) with concentrated Round Up...... my "summer work" is essentially done as of about 10 minutes ago.

Anything worth watching on TV tonight??

Oh yeah, bought a used riding mower last fall as I'm getting too old to push mow......broke it out yesterday and was trying to jump start it with a battery pack. The starter would just spin and spin and spin but it wouldn't engage the flywheel. After fighting it all afternoon, I finally realized I was "jumping" it backwards. Once I switched the cables around it fired right up.... :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I probably wouldn't have shared that but I can't foresee the future. 🙂
Well then, I guess I probably shouldn't tell about the time I was doing intensive internet router work all day at the house while at the same time washing my electric blanket for the first time....... being very careful to follow the washing / drying instructions..... got it all plugged back up and turned on my side of the bed and 1/2 hour later the other side of the bed was WARM!!!... I called the 1-800 # for support. Told them what I had done..... was placed on hold.....(while they laughed)...... they told me "Flip it over, your side will be warm."

I'm confused - if you can foresee the future, why not just do that and save yourself from all these "adventures" before they happen? :D

Sports futures. Specifically, Gamecock football, and a handful of other teams. When it comes to electrical stuff, I'm blind as a bat apparently.

Another one: Blew my radiator out in my truck. Replaced everything my self, even the water pump. No problem. About a month later the gauge was showing me what I thought was a "low coolant level" light. When I went to top off the tank, it was full. Confused, I kept driving. This went on for about 6 months. Finally I got tired of seeing that light. I took it in to the mechanic - told him what I had done and replaced and waited for him to fix it. About 10 minutes later he comes out and says "That's your oil gauge light."
