I have always thought we look great in all white. These are perfect, and a great example of what Nike does so well when it does alt uniforms (or any Oregon uniform); you tweak the existing scheme, you don't completely re-invent the wheel or its confusing and risks being ugly.

These RULE!

clean look...like that you can read the numbers. Smart to do alt uni for a road game this year.

Since I am new to this board how is it that I started this and come back and it is now showing someone else started it? Did I do something wrong?

Different twist this year and wearing them for a road game instead of home game.....

At least Armstrong will be happy since he like's the all white uniforms so much.

But for the rest of the road games it better be Red Pants baby.Winking

Incorrect. Red pants are no bueno. All white is awesome.

Haha, just kidding, I don't really care. Though, I do think all white with the red stripes as we've done the last few years for a lot of our away games is very classy looking, and a nice alternate to what our normal uniform is. It sure beats all red (which I guess we tried a few times but makes us look like we're Yosemite Sam in his underpants).

Well, they have never tried red metallic helmet and red jersey with white pants.

I still prefer the very first ones against Wisconsin our second year in the conference they screwed that one up by putting a black block N on the jersey other wise I like that one of all the rest.

All white sucks. These alt unis are ok though for one away game.

Wonderful. After a big win over Oregon to go 3-0 and finally ranked, NU shows up in Evanston in their surrender whites and there goes the season. Despite all the hype, maybe Riley just doesn't get it.
