Pope is crushing this part of things. Love this staff he’s putting together. He’s laying groundwork that will pay dividends for years to come in a way Cal never really seemed to grasp.

Staff looks damn good. Two ace recruiters and a really solid film/offensive/player dev guy who is also young. Who could grow into a good recruiter. Leaps and bounds ahead of Chin/O/Brusier. With the yearly musical chairs of the 4th and 5th slots being replaced.
Maybe Langston Love will slide on over with AB3.

I think the staff position that most people were thinking for Nazr is actually the spot that Fox took - the "GM" type role for the program.
Has Fox been officially announced though? If so I missed it.

He's already in the front office at OKC. I think he has future GM/VP etc. written all over him at the pro level. I don't see him going back to the college ranks.
8 Years there under Scott Drew. That should say something that he's willing to make that move. He definitely thinks this is a long-term move and or will be successful enough for him to become a head coach somewhere at some point.

Great recruiters to back a coach who knows how to run basic x and o's? It's a bold move Cotton, certainly hasn't been tried here in over a decade.
So now we have more coaches than players. Just kidding. I like this hire a lot. Derek Anderson as UK guy would be good.
