...Neb is a potential trap game? Big game against IU on Sunday, but Nebby isn't a gimme.

It would take quite a bit of the luster off of Sunday's game if NU Wildcats do not prevail.
Worrying about things you cannot control is stupid
Jules hit it right on the head here. You are, of course, not stupid to think this way. NU is not good enough to assume a win against anyone in the Big Ten and Nebraska has great incentive as it knows it can win this game tomorrow. Should be a good a good game and a lot of fun. It would take quite a bit of the luster off of Sunday's game if NU Wildcats do not prevail.
Yep, I'm worried. Continuing to hope that this year is different in that regard, but Nebby has plenty enough talent to beat us if we don't play good basketball. I do think our team defense has raised the level of our ceiling on days when we don't have it offensively (e.g. OSU and Rutgers), but I far prefer when we play well on both sides of the ball. A repeat of Iowa would not draw any complaints from me....Neb is a potential trap game? Big game against IU on Sunday, but Nebby isn't a gimme.
We're Northwestern fans. Its never stupid to worry. And even if it was, we'd still worry. Its in our DNA....Neb is a potential trap game? Big game against IU on Sunday, but Nebby isn't a gimme.
Already this week 4 of the top 6 teams in the nation have gone down.... hope he is being very Scrooge ishAlso, Virginia, it's pretty obvious you didn't see the Collins discussion with the press yesterday. If you have time, I think that will help alleviate some of your concern - especially Collins' reference to himself as "Scrooge."
CC also makes a good point that last year at this time they were 15-5.
