They have hit 10 or 11 threes, that’s why.
it's pretty inexcusable to not have a 1-3-1 in your back pocket.
We just can’t stop them from scoring, never thought that was going to happen. Most games this year Arkansas can’t hit threes if the other teams walk off the floor.
The driving is hurting us more... the layups and openings it causes is an issue... Im just saying, it can't be worse
Would have started the game in zone or at least switched D’s up. Playing man to man against a team with better athletes at every position is suicide.
Pope not running any zone against Arkansas is inexcusable. Anyone that knows a calipari coached team struggles against it and our guys are struggling with their athleticism. SMH
Yes, but almost every one of them has been off dribble penetration. If we could keep them out of the paint they wouldn’t be shooting as well.
Pope's done a really good job this year and has assembled a good roster on short notice, but this game by him has been a clunker. Yes AU has hit a bunch of 3s, but we haven't done much to give them different looks. His ability to teach defense has to improve. I'm glad we have him though
