When I take a step back I see this as THE problem - and not just with sports. We should be building integrity into every aspect of life instead of creating opportunities for hypocrisy and corruption.

Just because you are allowed to do something does not mean that you should.
You can't build integrity in something/someone you can't control. All of us hope to live in utopia, but that is just not the world we live in. Your only method of control is to stop recruiting the kid and move on to someone else.

At this rate they can live stream each morning and commit to someone different each time they change their mind. As of right now I'm committed to going home after work and taking a nap, but that can change. I might have a beer instead. I'll be sure to set up a commitment even to let everyone know. Now tomorrow is a different day so I'll let yall know tomorrow what i plan to do.

Parents can build integrity into their children. That is where it starts. After that they would have to decide for themselves. But it starts by looking in the mirror and then modeling that behavior regardless of what other people do or say.

You are right, i agree completely with this notion. But i think this misses adcoops point.

YOU can instill this in YOUR children. But other people wont/can't. You can't make everyone instill this in their kids because some people dont care.

Some of us will raise our children to be the best people they can be. Others will raise their kids to be all sorts of trash, like a race baiting loser, or even someone who knows nothing of commitment. We're always going to have a wide mix of results.

No, I knew that was his point. My point is that we don't talk about integrity enough. There are examples in real life of people without integrity that others believe give them license to be a low life.

I agree 100%. We dont talk about it enough. Maybe we give up on insisting on it too easily.

So, I don't know if the kid is coming here or not as a RB - but - He's too small for the SEC at RB.

IMHO, if he comes, he'll just be a body on the roster. I'm tired of these tiny backs coming here and getting smoked at the LOS because someone breathed on them real hard. We need a few tank types - about 6'2 - 230 - 245 types. Just bruisers. These little shifty backs get nowhere in a hurry.
