The young man worked hard and it has paid off. This is a true success story and the BBN wishes him well.
I do wish him well, and Pope getting his players into the league will help sign new players. But gosh, he was so frustrating for me to take last season, he'd look like a superstar one moment and then look like a plate of dog shiz the next.
Go Amari! He could be really good if he ever gets any touch and a useable shot form. If he works hard and develops he will be a great under the radar get.
Who knew no one is perfect? I don’t understand why to be critical of him when this is announced. He was probably our most valuable player and that’s enough for me.
Williams is a NBA player. He is good enough to be a bench guy for a decade plus at least.
I kind of think his unorthodox style was due to him growing up in England. Basketball obviously not the main attraction there and I’m guessing he picked it up late and not surrounded by basketball culture like all young, good players here in the states are.
Proud of him and glad he represented the Big Blue for one season.
This can only help Pope with his recruiting. He took a guy as a senior who had no chance of playing in the NBA and got him an opportunity. And the great thing is that Pope’s priority is to win at Kentucky first, not just get guys to the pros.
If he develops a twelve to fifteen foot shot along with a baby hook he will be around for a while.
