Man that ref, think it was Sirmons, who called him for the offensive trying to catch a ball with a dude holding him. Flipped a switch he played enforcer after that one.

I really dislike teams with **** basketball players that try to drag games into the mud like that. If you can't shoot go play a different sport.

I’ve given him a hard time. Gotta give him the credit when he plays like this.

He was awesome tonight. Extremely aggressive on the boards. Two great games in a row! Keep it goin big fella!
He's improved his FT shooting. He's cutting down on backing down in the post. He's cutting down on sloppy plays (they're still there, but he's worked on it). He's improved his rebounding to the point where he was RIPPING rebounds away from a ball of hacking and smacking A&M kids. Active on defense, too. He actually altered shots tonight, and that was huge.

Major props to Amari. I mean really. Hats off to you, Young Man.

Free throw shot has dramatically approved.
This he has the absolute flattest shot I ever remember. Dead line drive flat right at the front of the rim. He atleast has decent arch and rotation now.

I say every game his play is bipolar.

He'll make you scratch your head, and then he'll take over for a 5 minute stretch. He was MUCH more good Amari tonight. Really glad to see him show up like this in a big game.

Hope to see more of it Saturday.

Yes he has! He turned it around a couple games ago. Keep it up big fella.
His shot is weird. I don't know how to explain it except it's like he doesn't handle/control the ball and instead just has it roll aggressively off a couple finger tips. Whatever works, though.

Yeah it’s like his hands are so big he balances the ball on his finger tips you are right. I noticed that first thing when he shot FT’s.

He seems to have the worst luck on fouls.
I swear I did not see him commit four fouls. Maybe two.

Actually, of his 4 fouls, 2 of them were absolute crap b/c he was actually being fouled WHEN they called it on him...for the first, even the announcers said, "There is no way that can be a foul on Williams".

On the second foul, the aTm offensive player had reached back and was holding Amari illegally while trying to post up. Amari pushed the aTm's arms off of him, and gets the foul call. Amari did foul, but only b/c he was being fouled.

On the 3rd foul, aTm post player was trying to bull rush thru Williams, and he simply stood firm. He often has gotten into trouble using his hands when he's in good position, but he wasn't this time.

The goal tending call was bad too. The guy moved both feet before taking the shop
I have a question on the goal tending call too...the ball did hit the backboard first, but was on it's way down and below the rim when Amari hit it...is that still a goal tend? I thought the ball had to be a viable shot for it to be a goal tend.

I have been a big critic of him. He made some bad plays tonight but so did everyone else. He gave a lot of effort. Well done.

Also, if you watch him closely you can really tell he wants to be what everyone wants and lift his teammates to a win. It’s hard to fault a guy who is all in on representing UK. He drives me nuts at times still but last 2 games have been much improved.

He played like a grown up man. Rebounded with hands at the apex of the ball with authOrity, blocked shots, goof passes and finished so good.

Also him and Butler have been targeted by A&M with hard fouls. I saw his bloody lip and dint retaliate to his credit. He needs to understand that the other team might want him to retaliate because of the high emotional intensity that he plays with.

He is playing better and better from game to game. Proud of our British player! Good job mate !
