I like that he understands how much of the game is mental and about preparation and putting in the work (see Will Compton interview).
NFL RB is an extremely elite group, so it’s not about that. Just how to become your best self.

Nothing novel or new, but something we need our current players to genuinely understand and buy into.

If I’m not mistaken they get 10K per year for every year they’re in the league with a Cap @10 years and 100k

I just looked up the retirement and it averages about $46,000 per year. The biggest money comes from endorsements.

That’s the way I understood it. Have a friend who capped out at 10 years. he receives 100 K per year for life.

True… Most guys don’t make it anywhere close to 10 years in the league to receive the league max. The only other benefit he gets is full medical.

By comparison I have a friend who played for the A's for 13 seasons in the 60s and 70s. He said he never made over 20K/year. He's 80 now and his MLB Pension is over 70k/year.
