Oh here you are. Was responding to you as the other thread was deleted. No charges, so next time he can claim to have a clean record, and to have never done anything like this before.
No worries you found me!Oh here you are. Was responding to you as the other thread was deleted.
Only something good, I hope.Oh here you are. Was responding to you as the other thread was deleted.
Nope. Just complaining. A deleted thread mid reply just sucks.Only something good, I hope.![]()
That is true.Nope. Just complaining. A deleted thread mid reply just sucks.
He'll have to run the bleachers.I’m always perplexed as to why someone needs to press charges when a crime has been committed. Crimes aren't just personal - it's a crime against society and its rules. Hopefully the high school and athletics governing bodies do the right thing.
Well Smollet did press charges on Smollet, so by that logic it's cool...I guess? The craziest thing in this article is it says the offending party (the perp) also declined to press charges. Charges for what? Did the white kid's face break his hand? This is complete insanity. And the assault victim should have pressed charges. People who get violent don't stop until someone stops them. They need to feel some pain too.
edit: I just read it again. The black kid got bumped by the white kid, who was leading the race, because he was on the track and wouldn't move. He wasn't even in the race. GEEZ!
If you didn’t get it, then you just ain’t getting it.The title of this thread is perplexing.
The article said the perp was the kid in the black uniform. That has to be racist. Now switch the color of the two and watch the arrest and outrage. Probably throw in a little hate crime charge to boot. Our country is sick.

Nope I’m pressing chargesIn most cases I’m not so sure that I would want to bother pressing charges over being the victim of a minor assault where I sustained little to no injury.
Your talking about time out of your life to go to future court dates, etc……. And for what? So some guy who you will probably never see again gets a minor fine and a ding on his record
Because of forgiveness, leniency and grace. And freedom.I’m always perplexed as to why someone needs to press charges when a crime has been committed. If charges were automatically pressed "by society", that would be totalitarian.
And it is also possible to settle outside of the judicial system.
only thing missing here are some lets go brandon gratuitous chatter
does a punch bother you
1-6 bothers me
Charges are pressed "by society" though, right. In my expert Law and Order watching, the cases were always "the people vs".
Maybe thas just for higher level crimes.
Well if that was my son that got punched I would definitely be in jail. Anybody got bail money .The craziest thing in this article is it says the offending party (the perp) also declined to press charges. Charges for what? Did the white kid's face break his hand?
