Add Javin and Chase to that list. You don't have to be a star or get immediate playing time/glory to get to and STAY in the league. Bide your time, work hard, stay the course and be part of a team that competes for multiple championships. All three Plumlees are other great examples!

It does not hurt that Chase and Javin are 6'10. Gain the weight and muscle.

This kid played some great defense down the stretch for the Knickerbockers. He will collect a NBA pension.

Amile, let this guy be a mentor!

And Lance is scoring now too. He's their 3 and D guy. His transformation has been almost miraculous.

To me, Amile is a Tristan Thompson type. Rebound and put back. Will need muscle to play down low in the league but I see him making a team

Amile is miles ahead of lance at this stage
. I really believe Amile will find a home at the next level. He's not franchise but he will be that player every team needs to win the one that does not mind doing the dirty work to win. He will always play hard and give a team solid minutes

Not so sure about that! Lance was a phenomenal defender at this point - he could defend anywhere from a 1 to a 5. Amile is very good on defense and rebounding but I would not put him in the category of Lance in terms of quickness on D. Amile has a better inside game and could well be where Lance is but no way is he "miles ahead" at this point.

His D is on par his rebounding is better and his offense is too

i personally dont think Amile will be able to stick in the league unless he can learn how to shoot. In the modern NBA era, Amile would have trouble finding a place. He's too small to play C, but can't stretch the defense for drivers even out to 15 ft. Lance always had a much better jumpshot than Amile, but I've been shocked by Lance's extension of his range out to the 3 pt line in the league. Kudos to Lance for becoming a quality NBA player.

Amile could do it, but I'm pretty surprised he has 0 jumpshot and still struggles from the FT line after 5 years at duke
